Purpose & History
The Turlock Concert Association is a community-based, not-for-profit organization that sponsors world-class entertainment in a superior concert setting at a cost affordable to its subscribers. Each season the Association presents five concerts. Additionally, the Association underwrites several free concerts and assemblies for young students in the area. On these occasions, the visiting professional musicians present highlights of their evening performance and encourage the students to develop their musical and artistic abilities.
The organization is funded by annual season-ticket subscription sales, supplemented by generous donations from local sponsors. There is no paid staff, and the board of directors consists entirely of volunteers. Board members contribute their unique abilities and talents to the operation of the Association simply out of a commitment to the performing arts.
The Turlock Concert Association, Inc., formerly known as the Turlock Community Concert Association, has a rich legacy of honoring the performing arts. For over 75 years, renowned artists have graced the local stage because of the Association's generous sponsorship and its board's uncompromising vision. Your participation can make the next 100 years every bit as thrilling!
